Carer / PA Tickets
Introduction
Wroot Rocks is committed to making our gigs and festivals accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
We recognise that some customers may require the support of a Carer/PA to attend and access our venues safely and comfortably, for example, by assisting with communication, mobility, medical needs, or emergency evacuation.
Where a customer requires the support of a Carer, we may provide a discounted/free Carer ticket, subject to availability and the nature of the event.
Carer Tickets Terms & Conditions
Only one Carer ticket will normally be provided per eligible customer.
Carer tickets are not transferable and must be used in conjunction with a valid ticket purchased by the customer with disabilities.
Carer tickets must be requested at the time of ticket purchase. We cannot guarantee the availability of tickets if there is any delay in the application.
The Carer must be over the age of 18 and capable of providing the necessary assistance.
The support required must be significant, substantial, due to disability-related needs and more than what could be reasonably expected of family or friends already accompanying the guest.
The Carer must arrive at the event with the customer with disabilities and must accompany them throughout.
Customers under the age of 18 are not normally eligible for a Carer ticket, as they will not have purchased a full price ticket, and must already be accompanied by an adult in accordance with our standard ticket terms and conditions.
How to Apply
We ask customers to provide evidence of their support requirements to help us process requests for Carer tickets. Acceptable forms of evidence are:
Access card with the +1 symbol
Disability Living Allowance (DLA) award letter, at the middle or higher rate for the care component
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) award letter, at the standard or enhanced level for the Daily Living Component
We only need to see proof of eligibility, not detailed medical information. All information provided is handled in line with UK GDPR and kept strictly confidential.
When you have purchased a ticket, you should email us on wrootrocks.info@gmail.com with a copy of your proof of eligibility, the event details and your order number. We will then process the application and, if approved, you will receive a Carer ticket.
