Ey Up Mi Duck
Ey Up Mi Duck is an annual family-run, family-friendly grass roots folk music festival which has been running since 2016.
Held at Old Bank End Farm, Finningley, near Doncaster, with three days of fantastic music, amazing independent food vans and an excellently stocked bar (although you’re also free to bring your own food and booze). Previous headliners have included Headsticks, Tankus the Henge, Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff), The Leylines, Beans on Toast, Will Varley and Tony Wright (Terrorvision).
With its emphasis on being relaxed and on catching up with friends and enjoying time together with like-minded people, we pride ourselves on the fact that people of all ages and from all walks of life feel able to come together in a non-judgemental, emotionally, and physically safe environment.
There are two main stages, located at opposite ends of a ‘big top’ type tent. We also have a second smaller acoustic tent, where we host ‘open mic’ sessions, with attendees having an opportunity to show off their musical talents.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to attend, but please ensure that they are always kept on a short lead and you clear up after them.
Ey Up Mi Duck Tickets
Our standard Weekend Tickets (Friday to Sunday) are £129 per person - sorry, but we don’t offer individual Day Tickets.
Children under the age of 18 (at the time of the festival) are free of charge, although you will need to add child tickets to your order.
Higher Income Tickets
It’s becoming a real struggle for small independent festivals like ours to cover the ever-increasing costs. We really don’t want to charge for under 18s to attend, or add any form of booking fee for our tickets.
So, we’ve added a new ‘higher income’ ticket if you want to lend a little support. There’s absolutely no pressure, and please only buy these tickets if you can easily afford them.
Thursday Bonus Day
We loved our first Thursday event in 2026, so we’re doing it again in 2027!
Get here a day early and catch a handful of artists in the evening. It’s a separate ticket, so please don’t forget to add it to your order. These tickets are only available to those with a full weekend ticket.
Accessible Pitches
We’re also doing the accessible pitches a little differently, to try and make it fairer and ensure those most in need receive these pitches.
If you would like an accessible pitch, please buy your festival and pitch tickets (either live-in vehicle, tent or caravan). There is no separate accessible pitch ticket you can purchase this year.
You can then apply for an accessible pitch by completing an application form, which you can request by sending an email to wrootrocks.info@gmail.com
Please note that we will not be sending out any forms until after 1st June 2026 (we just need a bit of a rest)

Gig In A Field
‘In a summer where we thought the music had stopped, we had a Gig in a Field’ - August 2020.
Staying true to its origins as a socially distanced festival in the middle of a pandemic, our annual two day festival every August is nothing fancy – it literally is a gig in a field.
Held at The Nook, just outside Wroot, Gig in a Field is a celebration of community, with a feeling of belonging, connection, acceptance, and mutual support at its very heart.
It’s a festival where people return year after year and know each other by name. Newcomers are welcomed and not made to feel like outsiders. Artists and audiences mingle. Everyone pitches in if there’s a problem, whether that’s helping someone to put up their tent, or sharing your pasta when someone’s forgotten theirs.
Oh! And there’s also some cracking live music!! It’s an open-air stage that’s hosted the likes of Skinny Lister, Merry Hell, Beans on Toast, Mark Chadwick (The Levellers) and Millie Manders and the Shutup. And who can forget our iconic Gig in a Field Pet Show - in 2025, we had over 30 entries, including a cat and a tortoise!

Wrootstock
Sometimes we just fancy the idea of an all-dayer!
Back in the early days of Wroot Rocks, we held Wrootstock, followed by Wrootstock II. Wrootstock III ended up being cancelled due to the restrictions of COVID, but we are finally bringing it back for 2026!
Festival vibes of all day music and friends, Wrootstock is from 7pm on Friday evening and all day Saturday, from noon. Located at Wroot Village Hall, we also invite a food trader to provide sustenance for all that dancing, and we have our fantastic bar to quench that thirst.
Wrootstock Tickets
Tickets for the Friday & Saturday are £99 per person - sorry, we don’t offer individual Day Tickets.
Tickets for children under the age of 16 (at the time of the festival) are £25.
We have a payment plan available if you wish to spread the cost of your tickets. You can pay an initial £33 for each adult ticket. Further payments will be due as follows:
£33 by 1st April 2026
£33 by 1st August 2026
If you choose this option, we’ll be in touch with details of how to pay your installments when they are due. Please note that failure to pay the installments may result in your ticket being cancelled without refund.
Your ticket includes two nights free camping at The Nook, which is a 15 minute walk from the Village Hall. If you want to brave the weather, you can even pitch your tent - we’ll be hiring in a portaloo
