Village Hall Events

So, once upon a time a couple struggled to find live music gigs that they could take their young child to, due to age restrictions imposed by most venues. So, they decided to put on their own gigs in their local village hall – and hence, Wroot Rocks was born.

Voted as the best small music venue in Lincolnshire & surrounding areas, we host a variety of gigs in the wheelchair accessible village hall, including full band shows, songwriter nights, acoustic sets, and a full day Christmas party. All events are open to all ages, and limited seating is always available; occasionally our gigs are fully seated, but we’ll always let you know ahead of time what the specific arrangements are.

Thanks to our incredible team and our Wroot Rocks family, you will always receive a warm, friendly welcome and leave Wroot with new friends. We run a small bar – it’s not comprehensive (we can’t do cocktails, and don’t have seventeen flavoured gins!), but it’s very reasonably priced, and there’s usually fish fingers sandwiches and chip butties available.

A colorful cartoon scene featuring a brown building labeled 'Wroot Village Hall' surrounded by trees and mountains. The sky has clouds, a banner reading 'It shouldn't work, but it does!', and various flying objects including a purple plane, a helicopter, and a small drone with a bee. There is also a purple bus, a sign that says 'Wroot', and a large purple heart-shaped sign that reads 'Ultra Rock'.
