Tickets
I can’t find my ticket or remember what I’ve bought. What should I do?
If you can’t locate your tickets, please email us on wrootrocks.info@gmail.com with the name and email address you used for the booking. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can and will resend confirmation of your tickets.
I can no longer attend the festival. Can I return my tickets for a refund?
As outlined in our terms and conditions, tickets cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded after purchase.
We do recognise that it’s not always straightforward to resell your tickets, so this year we’ve decided to do things differently. As soon as the festival sells out, we will be introducing our own official ticket resale service, run by the Wroot Rocks team, which will hopefully make the reselling of tickets fairer, easier and safer.
You can contact us if you want to buy or sell tickets for Ey Up Mi Duck 2026. If we have people on our waiting list who would like your tickets, we will refund you the face value of your tickets. We will then re-issue the tickets to the buyer and take payment – again at face value. For more details, click here
Selling or buying tickets in any other way is strongly discouraged to protect everyone.
Can I buy a day ticket, so my friends can visit?
We do not offer day tickets. The festival is licensed by the Local Authority, who place a strict limit on the number of people who can attend. As the festival weekend tickets always sell out, we cannot accept any visitors, so just remind your friends to buy tickets for next year as soon as they’re available…..
Location
Where is Ey Up Mi Duck held?
The festival is held at Old Bank End Farm, Bank End Road (B1396), DN9 3NT. The nearest village is Finningley.
The entrance to the site is by the farmhouse, with the WhatThreeWords - duplicate.slanting.desk. The entrance is almost opposite the beautiful lake with the large tree on an island in the middle.
Timings
What time do the gates open?
The site opening times for new arrivals are detailed below. Please note that these times are for people arriving at the festival for the first time, so will need wristbands and welcome packs issuing.
Thursday Bonus Day Ticket Holders:
Thurs 7th May:
Gates open at 1:00pm & close at 7:00pm
Please do not arrive on Thursday unless you have purchased a Bonus Day ticket. These tickets will not be available to purchase on the gate, and you will not be admitted to the site.
Weekend Ticket Holders:
Friday 8th May:
Gates open at 10:00am & close at 8:00pm
Saturday 9th May:
Gates open at 10:00am & close at 4:00pm
Sunday 10th May:
Gates open at 10:00am & close at 4:00pm
We are really sorry that we are unable to accept new arrivals outside of these times. Please do not arrive any earlier as you will not be allowed on to the site.
Please note the site is on a busy road and there is nowhere to park up in the immediate vicinity, if you arrive before the gates open.
If you arrive in the area earlier than expected, we suggest getting some breakfast – there’s a couple of fantastic places close by:
Walkers Garden Centre Restaurant, Mosham Road, DN9 3BA – opens at 9am
McCallums Farm Shop Café, Bank End Road, DN9 3NT – opens at 9am
You will be able to leave the site later than the gate closure times listed above – these times are just for people arriving on site. The gates are generally locked at midnight.
What are the Stage Times?
When do we have to leave the site?
We ask that you leave the site by 12noon on Monday.
Camping
We want to camp with our friends. Can we save them a space?
Unfortunately, you will not be able to reserve spaces for friends who are arriving later. We would suggest that you make plans to arrive together. There are absolutely no exceptions to this.
We would ask you please follow the instructions of the team, and park / pitch where directed. Please do not try and squeeze in elsewhere, as we have safety guidelines we need to abide by, and you will be asked to move.
What facilities are there in the field?
There are portaloos, drinking water, a chemical disposal point and showers available.
Can we use a barbeque or firepit?
Off the ground charcoal-fueled barbeques for the purpose of cooking are permitted, as long as the grass is appropriately protected with a heatproof mat.
Firepits and open fires are strictly prohibited.
We all absolutely love a festie firepit. However, we also need to abide by the requests of the amazing landowner who allows us to use this beautiful corner of Lincolnshire. We would ask that you respect this restriction and do not put our team in the difficult position of asking you to extinguish an open fire. Please be aware that we will not be held liable for any damage caused in the event we are required to use a fire extinguisher if polite requests are ignored.
Can we use a portable generator?
Portable petrol / diesel generators are strictly prohibited. Please do not bring them onto the site.
We will have the facility to recharge devices, including portable battery packs, although please bear in mind that this will be a fairly limited service and likely to be popular.
Can we park our car next to our tent or caravan?
Unfortunately, we simply do not have the space on the field to allow vehicles to be parked next to tents. We really want everyone to have the space to relax, rather than trying to cram everyone in. We have also been advised that this is not recommended for safety reasons.
You will be able to drive to your pitch to offload your car, but request that you move your vehicle to the car park at your earliest convenience. We cannot allow any exceptions to this, so please do not be upset if you are asked to move your vehicle. If you refuse, you may be asked to leave the site without refund.
You will also be able to bring your vehicle to your pitch to load up when you are leaving the site. If you need help at any point to pitch a tent or carry belongings, please let one of the team know.
You will be able to park one car next to your caravan, but it must be uncoupled.
Do you have designated areas for tents & campervans?
Yes, we do, and you will be directed to the right area on arrival. If your group requires different types of pitches, there are certain rules you must follow for safety reasons:
If your party includes a tent and a campervan, you will be required to park in the campervan area
If your party includes a caravan, the whole party must park in the caravan area
No live in vehicles are permitted to park in the tent area, or the car parking area
Car roof tents must park in the caravan area
Please note that you must have a pitch ticket for each unit you bring, e.g. if you are bringing a campervan and a tent, you will need two pitch tickets. If you need extra tickets, please contact our official ticket resale service
Can we use an awning?
We want everyone to have a space to chill with friends, so we do allow small awnings. We ask that you are respectful of other campers and keep your space to a comparable area to the size of your group.
We understand that this is an amazing opportunity to enjoy, celebrate and have a couple of drinks. We just please ask that you are respectful, and considerate your neighbours, particularly after midnight.
Food & Drink
Will there be food vans?
We will have our usual fantastic selection of food vans on site:
Wallace & Dough – Wood fired pizzas (vegan option available)
Time & Plaice – Fish & Chips (Friday & Sunday)
Time & Plaice – Pie Van (Thursday & Sunday)
Junk Soul Smothered – Burgers & Loaded Fries (all vegan)
Yamas – Greek street food
Paddingtons Waffles – Waffles & Desserts
Choc & Cheese – Desserts (gluten free options available)
Coffee at Heathers – Barista coffee & drinks
We look forward to the food almost as much as the music!
We’re just sorting out the food for Thursday – at least a couple of the vans will be there.
We’ve also got breakfasts covered this year – including vegan options!!
Will there be other stalls and traders?
We have a fantastic range of traders coming along to Ey Up Mi Duck, including clothing, jewellery, healing treatments, and crafted gifts.
Will the traders / merch stands accept cards?
Most of the traders accept cards, however, we do struggle with signal, so best to bring plenty of cash.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Absolutely, however we do have a fantastically stocked bar on site. This year we’re also adding a smaller satellite bar in the Open Mic tent.
You are welcome to bring alcohol onto site. However, please be aware that glass is prohibited in the arena, so ask that you decant any bottles in plastic cups before taking it to the arena.
Other Important Stuff
Can we bring dogs?
We absolutely welcome well-behaved dogs, but please ensure they are kept on a short lead at all times, and you clear up after them.
Please be aware that the marquees can get crowded and noisy during the evenings and can be a stressful environment for dogs. We also acknowledge that some attendees may not be comfortable being in close proximity to dogs. For these reasons, we would prefer that dogs are not brought into the marquees after 7pm. If at any time we believe it is not appropriate or safe for your dog to be in a particular area, you may be asked to move.
Can I leave the site and come back again?
You are welcome to leave the site and return if you wish (although we can’t imagine why you would want to!). Please be aware that the gate will be locked between midnight and 8am. If you do leave / return, please be aware that you will not be permitted to take your vehicle onto the camping area, and please take extra care if returning whilst it is dark.
If you do leave the site during the day, please remember to keep your wristband on. For security reasons, you will not be allowed re-entry without it.
Will there be merchandise available to buy?
Yes, definitely! It’s one of the best ways to support the festival and the artists. There will be merch stalls in the arena so make sure you pop along and say hi to your favourite artists and check out the merch.
We’ll be selling official festival merch, but this will only be available on our website to pre-order, for collection at the festival. We will not be selling merch at the event, so please make sure you pre-order to avoid disappointment.
Can we bring camping chairs into the arena?
You are more than welcome to bring chairs, small tables, picnics, and blankets into the open air arena.
Unless you have a mobility issue, please do not bring chairs into the marquees. If you do need a chair, we ask that you sit around the edge of the marquee and not in front of the stage.
Can we smoke and vape on site?
We do allow smoking and vaping in the campsite and arena, although we ask that you are mindful of those around you and avoid smoking in close proximity to children.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in marquees and around the food vans and merch stalls.
Please ensure you carefully dispose of cigarette ends into the ashtrays provided or another suitable receptable.
What do I need to make sure I bring?
Please do not take this as a complete list, but we’ve done our best to think of things to bring:
Cash / card – to buy loads of amazing merch and food
Phone – for finding friends and taking snaps
Sunglasses – to avoid that glare and just generally look cool
Insect repellant – the horseflies are fierce and feisty!
Sun cream – we don’t want any lobsters!
Wellies / waterproof jacket – hopefully you won’t need them, but hey, it’s English springtime!
Baby wipes – for a quick freshen up (please try to buy compostable ones)
Water bottle – please try and stay hydrated at all times. There’ll be drinking water, and free squash available
Torch – guy ropes can be a monster in the dark!
Toiletries – soap, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrush
Medication
Spare warm clothes – the nights can get nippy!
Donations of packs of new children’s underwear for our Clothing Bank Appeal
Plenty of smiles and hugs – because you can never have enough….
Will there be a shop on site if I forget something?
We will have a small shop, with crisps, snacks, some toiletries, and other essentials. There’ll also be Pot Noodles and a kettle so you can make a quick snack.
This is ‘Pay What You Want / Can’ honesty shop. There will be a donation bucket for you to pay for what you take. We don’t put prices on anything, so if you’re unsure, just pay what you normally would expect to in a supermarket.
However, we know times are incredibly tough. If you are struggling, please, please, please have a snack on us. No-one will be checking or judging, as we’re all family. We just want everyone to spend a few days escaping from reality and recharging emotional batteries.
Please do not feel that you have to put money in the bucket every time you visit the shop. You can just pay at the end of the day, the end of the festival, or even PayPal us when you get home (wrootrocks@gmail.com).
There will be a few things available that we won’t leave out, as we don’t want children to get their hands on them, such as painkillers and Rennies. If there is anything at all you need, please ask one of the team.
Will there be recycling facilities?
So, we have to be honest – handling the rubbish and recycling is our biggest (and most expensive) headache. Neil usually has to spend the day after each festival climbing into the huge wheelie bins and physically sorting through all of the rubbish, as we are required to segregate it. We understand that it’s not always obvious what goes in which bin. So, this year, we are going to try and make sure all of the bins are clearly labelled up.
So we are pleading for your help to do the following:
Please do not put large items, such as broken camping chairs, in the bins. We would appreciate it if you could take these home with you.
Please check the labels on the bins to make sure you are using the correct one.
Please do not put pizza boxes in the cardboard bin, as these cannot be recycled.
Please crush your empty cans if possible.
Will you be running the raffle again?
Absolutely! We will be selling tickets throughout the festival. Just grab one of our lovely volunteers who’ll be wandering around with books of raffle tickets
As usual, the top prize will be a family ticket to next year’s Ey Up Mi Duck. All proceeds go to the amazing local cancer support charity Team Verrico. Paul, Jackie and the Verrico team will be around all weekend, being their usual awesome selves and helping us out.
Unfortunately, due to time and space restrictions, we are unable to accept any donations of raffle prizes.
Will you be running the Clothing Bank Appeal again?
Yes! We will have a collection point for packs of new unopened packs of children’s underwear, vests and socks. The Clothing Bank do an incredible job of tackling clothing poverty, by collecting unwanted clothing and donating it to those most in need. Last year, you guys were absolutely incredible and donated over 100 packs – we’d love to beat that this year. These donations really do make a difference.
How can I keep up to date with what’s going on at the festival?
If you haven’t already, we’d suggest you join the Ey Up Mi Duck Music Festival Group on Facebook. Its a great way to find out what’s going on in the lead up to and during the festival. It’s also a great way to connect with other attendees, and ask for advice, support and help or just shout out for things you’ve forgotten.
We’ll also be emailing out information in the weeks before the festival. We’d ask that you keep a look out for these, including checking your spam folder.
How can we make your lives easier?
Honestly? By just being your usual awesome, wonderful selves. Seeing our amazing Wroot Rocks community together in a field, smiling, hugging, laughing, enjoying, makes every single one of our many sleepless nights totally and utterly worthwhile.
However, we also recognise that this can be an overwhelming experience. If you do struggle, please just reach out, whether that’s to someone you know, or to us. We can always find you a quiet corner. The one thing that we are sure of is the support and love that exists in a small field in the middle of nowhere every May.
When is next year’s Ey Up Mi Duck and when do tickets go on sale?
Next year’s Ey Up Mi Duck will be on 7th – 9th May 2027, and tickets go on sale straight after this year’s festival, on Monday 11th May at 10.00am. Tickets will be available on www.wrootrocks.com
We can’t wait to see you all in a field soon!
Have a safe journey
Best Wishes,
